In July, we took a road trip from San Francisco to Vancouver. We put our photos on SmugMug.com so friends and family can see them easily.

Before you begin, here are a couple of things to consider:

If you're using a Mac computer, Internet Explorer may misalign some photos. Using Firefox or Safari should work better.

If you don't have a high-speed connection, you may want to choose "S" for smaller images. Otherwise, "M" or "L" should be fine.

SLIDESHOW OPTION (Please read before opening the gallery.)

You can also look at the photos as a full screen slideshow. Here's how:

1. Click "slideshow" at the top of the photo gallery page.

2. You'll see a new page with a menu on top. Immediately click "pause" on this menu.

(If the menu disappears, just move your mouse over the page to bring it back.)

3. Click the checkbox beside the captions button (to be able to read the captions).

4. Click the checkbox beside "fade" (for smoother transitions).

5. Delete the 3 and set the duration to 8 (so you'll have time to read the captions).

6. Click "play". The show should last less than 10 minutes. Have fun and enjoy the ride!
